Graduates of this department are expected to branch out into different paths seeking spheres of knowledge and domains of professional work that they find fulfilling. After graduating with History Honours from the University of Delhi,they will be able to demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of scholarly research and professional literature relating to the discipline. This will establish a platform from which the student can pur-sue higher studies in History.
