The Department of Management Studies at our college offers the most sought after and prestigious course, Bachelor in Management Studies (BMS). The Department started in the year 2017 at our college and it has presently one section of the course in which approximately 50 students are admitted every year in accordance with procedure specified by the University. The faculty members of the Department includes experienced teachers with professional background and vast experience in management and its allied areas. The teaching pedagogy for teaching of various papers of the course includes case studies, presentation, group discussion, role plays, etc. besides class room lectures. Students are provided with opportunities to learn and demonstrate managerial skills through seminars, summer internship, field surveys, etc. The Department has also constituted a students society, SANKALP, under the aegis of which several programs are conducted besides an annual fest, DELVE. Every year department produce good academic result and students earn various laurels in co-curricular activities at national and International level. Since the Department is new, we are happy to share that we have a good intellectual density as students from first batch have secured admission in prestigious institutions like IIM and ISB and subsequent batch are endeavoring for it. We also witnessed good amount of placement in BIG4 companies and reputed consulting firm from our first batch. The Department is working with the committment to apply innovative and modern practices in order to make teaching learning smooth and liberal in order to add more values in the life of students.
