From the Principal's Desk

Dear Students,

Aryabhatta college began as “Ram Lal Anand College(Evening)”, is now directly maintained by the University of Delhi since 1973 which is located adjacent to the South campus of the university of Delhi against the backdrop of the Aravalli Range.

Aryabhatta College is a co-educational institutional which stresses on quality education to the masses at an undergraduate level. I, with my fellow teachers (as a team) is set to put its indelible impression on the educational map of the region & society.

Our college as a value-based institution is dedicated to inculcate in the youth a desire to evolve oneself and be the cause for transforming an individual into a good social being. The few souvenir in hand vividly describes and depicts the various aspects and features of this committed journey and success stories of some of these young achievers. We couldn’t be more proud of the few achievers and the many to be crowned in this league in the future.

After the illustrious leadership of my predecessors and the ongoing hard-work of my teaching faculty, I too dedicate myself to provide wholesome education to one and all.

Mahatma Gandhi once said, “Education is all round development of the personality.” Indeed, education imparts a great deal of knowledge, but to mould the young generation to all dimensions of character encompassing conscience, creativity, citizenship, commitment, and competence which is the need of the hour can be realised only through our endeavour.

Time and again us Aryabhattan’s have stood for inclusive growth of all. It gives due emphasis to provide a variety of opportunities through which every student can channelize themselves to unfold and actualize their potentialities.

In our college, I have witnessed consequently all kinds of talents. Instead of labelling children as average or under-achievers, I, along with my dedicated faculty intend to nurture every student’s natural talent in their area of interest, and march them towards a more focused ambition. My only aim is to prove worthy as a Head administrator, an Educationalist, an inspiration to all, and a great teacher when I march with my fellow faculty on the journey of excellence.

I welcome you all as your Prinicipal and give my best wishes to all the new students joining this year a happy and fulfilling 2015-16 academic session.

Dear students, make use of every opportunity available to develop your abilities and potentiality. Together let us strive to transform the college into a world class institution that you can refer proudly to as your alma mater.

My best wishes for all your future endeavours.

Dr. Manoj Sinha
